Tiffany offers workshops in a hybrid format to make them as accessible, flexible, and community-centered as possible.

In 2026, Tiffany will also host online workshops throughout the year, open to individual participants who want to learn, create, or connect in a welcoming virtual environment. These open-to-the-public (but paid) sessions make it easy for people to join even if they aren’t affiliated with an organization.

Overview: As a #1 New York Times bestselling author, Tiffany Hammond offers author talks and discussions on disability at libraries, public and private schools, universities, bookstores, and more. She also leads writing workshops, drawing from her expertise as a writer and advocate. Tiffany is available for both in-person and virtual engagements. Author visits are some of her favorite opportunities to connect directly with young readers, educators, and families. During each visit, Tiffany will share a reading of A Day With No Words, answer student questions, and guide participants through thoughtful discussions about communication, identity, and what it means to celebrate diverse ways of being in the world.

She also incorporates interactive activities inspired by the two educational guides she’s created for the book, helping students engage creatively, reflectively, and with a deeper understanding of the story’s themes.

Accessibility & Pricing: Most author visits are paid engagements, which helps support the time, preparation, and resources that go into each event. However, Tiffany believes deeply in accessibility and community connection, so she’s always open to discussing discounted rates, shared-cost opportunities, or limited pro bono visits for schools or libraries with financial constraints.
